“Uncle Earl Goes to The Movies”

On August 28, I had the honor of being invited to a private pre-screening of Henry Jaglom’s Film “Just 45 Minutes From Broadway!” presented at Laemelle’s Music Hall in Beverly Hills by Hilary Helstein & The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival and the Jewish Journal.




Film was followed by a Q&A with director Henry Jaglom, actor Judd Nelson and actress Tanna Frederick, moderated by Naomi Pfefferman-Magid, Arts & Entertainment Editor of the Jewish Journal.


The film opens in Los Angeles October 3rd & in New York October 17th at Laemelle’s Movie Theatres.

“Just 45 Minutes” marked writer-director Jaglom’s 18th feature and his fourth screen collaboration with actress Frederick, who starred in his earlier films Hollywood Dreams, Irene In Time, and Queen of the Lot. The original stage production ran at the Edgemar Theater in Santa Monica, California, debuting in October 2009.
