UJ He, music producer, composer, arranger and writer and
CEO of Soulway Entertainment is one of the most original artist in China.
At age of 19, he went to Paris to study modern music
at one the most prestigious Parisian music school: the CIM.
He was the first student from mainland China and completed
there a composition and arrangement degree.
Profoundly influenced by arrests like the Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones,
he begun his musical journey after finishing a production and recording degree
at the so famous Musician Institute of Hollywood.
He started in 2009 a production company in Shanghai: Soulway Entertainment.
Produced track for many artists in China, US and France
with genre ranging from Pop to Rock to Rn’B to Hip Hop, Soul, Gospel and World music.
He also stages a variety of live events: festivals, tours, concerts and other musical presentations,
with a roster of over hundreds of shows produced in the past four years,
for brands like BMW, Porsches, BNP-‐ Parisbas and L’Oréal.
Among UJ’s most recent credits is creating and producing the theme song of the French Pavilion
for the Shanghai World Expo 2010, an event that generated the largest number of visitors
– over 70 million -‐-‐ in the history of world fairs.
Moreover, he created music for most recognizable brands worldwide,
including Coca-‐ Cola, Citroën, Baileys, AC Milan, Shenzhen Charity Organization and Xin Wei magazine.
As the world becomes smaller, its music becomes ever more significant. With expertise,
vision and impeccable standards, UJ’s philosophy is to focus the eyes and ears
of the international community on the rising generation of Chinese artists and music.
This dynamic duo is breaking new ground and spreading a message of LOVE to the world.
