The Ultimate Underground Experience Presents “Thoughts For A Better World!”

In today’s show, Uncle Earl digs into the realm of conscious and subconscious contemplations of Life through words and music. The hope is that you will become more aware of your important role in society and humanity.

On the docket, is the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday, The Selma To Montgomery March, & The Voting Rights Act of 1965. The theme is “Remember, Recommit, and Restore,” will be celebrated in Selma, Alabama from march 5 – 9, 2015. Thousands of people from across the world and nation will join foot soldiers and leaders of the Voting Rights Movement from Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Voting Rights movement. Former U.S. Presidents, Congressional Representatives, National personalities, Entertainers, and Grassroots Participants will attend. Numerous National and International News and Media Outlets will capture the commemoration of this momentus occasion.

This Anniversary is of particular importance given the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding pre-clearance provisions of the Voting Rights Act. This gathering will serve as a platform to emphasize the importance of reinstatement of this provision by Congress.

“An All-Star Salute to Selma” with Conductor Dr. Henry Panion, III, the GSC Symphony Orchestra and Mass Choir (1,000 Voices!)

They will be accompanied by Special Guest Stars Kirk Franklin, Ruben Studdard, Lady Tramaine Hawkins, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and Richard Smallwood. Also expecting confirmations from The Clark Sisters, Fantasia, Kenny Lattimore, Mary J. Blige and many more!

This event takes place on March 8, 2015, at 3:00 PM and is the culmination of activities commemorating Bloody Sunday with the 50th Anniversary march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge. This three-hour Docu-Concert celebration showcases the 50 most significant triumphs in politics, music, sports, and civil rights activism since this historic day in 1965.

Special Spotlight Guest: Multi-Award Winning Songwriter/Producer & Smooth Jazz Artist – Bobbi “Funkee Boy” Tammaro.

International Recording Artist, Songwriter, Producer “Funkee Boy’s” has amassed an impressive amount of credits throughout his music career. He has scored numerous chart hits across multiple music genres, as well as, several top Billboard chart hits/Top 5 Smooth Jazz hits, and licensing deals on television networks such as ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, SHOWTIME, VH1, etc.

Bobbi “Funkee Boy” Tammaro was blindsided with cancer in April 2014. “Funkee Boy” explains, “It was a grueling battle with a very aggressive chemotherapy schedule. Through it all my faith, loved ones &fans really helped me to Rise above it. I used every tool from prayers to exercise to holistic medicine, to music, reiki, & acupuncture. I’m now happy to announce & celebrate that I’m Cancer FREE!!”

As a way to thank his fans and friends for their support, and to help others in need, “Funkee Boy” will be donating a percentage of his new album, “Soul Purpose” Sales, Royalties, and CD giveaways to The American Cancer Society/Harold Lever Cancer Center.
